Are the free $500 Walmart, Macy’s, Target,etc. gift cards a gimick?

The promotional offers that I received by email to receive a free gift card states that I have to complete 2 Silver, 2 Gold and 2 Platinum offers.Is this for real or a gimmick?

    Yep, its a scam. By the time you get those gift cards, you would have already spent more than 500.00 on offers you have to agree to
